In the words of the Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff, "Music is enough for a lifetime, but a lifetime is not enough for music", we both recognize that there is a wealth of repertoire out there that is being shared by amazing musicians that we both admire and look up to, who continues to inspire us. But, there is also a wealth of music out there that is not being shared for one reason or another. We would like to be able to share these alongside those in the mainstream repertoire that people may also discover them. We are also looking into exploring new ways to interpret existing repertoire through collaborations with composers.
In line with giving exposure to lesser known music in the repertoire, and taking our musical sharing a step further, we would like our performances to be a vehicle for bringing awareness to social issues that we feel are important to the current state of humanity. We will strive to partner with specific groups or organizations whom we will give an opportunity to share their mission during our events.
